The new CVM TV will boast a top level of new programming and personalities from the comedic Ity Ellis, power couple Tami and Wayne, news bosses Kerlyn Brown and Dennis Brooks to the entertaining Miss Kitty – announced at the-branding and launch which took the form of an award ceremony calling it CVMM’s.

It was held at the Palace Amusement cinema in Sovereign off Hope Road in St. Andrew, which was a red carpet affair and had members of cooperate Jamaica in attendance.
Embodied by prestige from the entrance, the ‘new’ Cvm team, which was recently acquired by VertiCast Media group says it has answered the call by Jamaicans for good and real fun for free-to-air television and they are delivering with a creative punch Sunday to Sunday.
Total fresh local content from its morning show, SUNRISE Dennis Brooks and Miss Kitty will team up while Ity and Tami Chin be the second team of hosts.

The show will have a mix of news, current affairs, and entertainment infused with fun – during the presentation, Kitty told the audience “It’s on” and the team is ready to be the best.

The main news package was also rebranded with the darling of news Kerlyn Brown taking back center stage and will be assisted by Mr voice: Stephen McHugh – and the newsroom will continue to be managed by the well-experienced and skilled Neika Lewis as managing editor.
The company’s chief commercial officer Carlo Redwood during the launch announced many International sports programming from the premier league, champions league, and others, CVM will continue to bring the best in sports.
Meanwhile, other programmes include the YouTube reality show Meet The Mitchells, Sunshine Fitness with Kamila McDonald, and The Cut with Wayne Marshall – not a talk show he says, it’s reasoning.

CVM will also bring back Jamaica’s beloved Royal Palm Estate.
Media mogul and now the owner of CVM TV Oliver McIntosh for his part said “It’s a new CVM” and that the road to this transition began years ago when the then owners birth the company and now it’s time for local content to take center stage.

All changes are set for July 1st and the aim is to be relevant, rambunctious, refreshing, and relatable.
