Songstress Halle Bailey and rapper DDG confirmed that Jamaica is the perfect getaway as the couple flew down to the island to celebrate Bailey’s 23rd birthday.

Bailey had tongues wagging after posting images of her visit with the caption “Birthday Behavior”. The ‘Little Mermaid’ star was posted up enjoying the sun and aquatic life at noted attraction, Dunn’s River Falls.

Bailey’s boyfriend, rapper DDG also shared images of his presence on the island via his socials with a few words to describe his mood in patios.

The rapper also shared his love for the local cuisine with his 5.8 million IG followers on Thursday.

Their ‘Bae-cation’ puts another stamp of approval on Jamaica as the ‘celebrity playground’ and destination of choice in the region.

Over the past several months, the country has seen an influx of well-known or international stars such as; Summer Walker, Dua Lipa, Chance the Rapper, Cardi B and Offset.

Local fans are patiently waiting on the arrival of Nicki Minaj who has declared her plans to visit Jamaica for Carnival Road March which is slated for April 16.
