Desmond McKenzie condemns the killing of four homeless men

The Kingston Central police have commenced their investigation into the death of four homeless men who were killed across the corporate area between Sunday night and Monday morning.

Two other homeless men who were injured by what appears to be the same style of attack, are still hospitalised.

Reports are that all the bodies had blunt trauma seemingly, chop wounds to the head and limbs.

Three of the deceased men were found on Hanover Street in Kingston Central while the fourth body was retrieved in Kingston West.

The injured men were found at Lane Plaza and Derrymore Road in St Andrew.

Local Government and Rural Development Minister Desmond McKenzie, has since condemned the attacks.

He is urging the members of the homeless population to make use of shelters.

The police say their investigation is ongoing.
