A May 5, 2025, date has officially been set for the trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs, who has been charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.

The Judge in Combs’ federal case announced the May date at a court hearing in New York on Thursday.

The Bad Boys Entertainment Ceo, who has maintained his innocence, was present during the hearing. Members of his family were also present for the announcement.

The trial, expected to command much public scrutiny, is anticipated to last at least three weeks, according to Prosecutor Emily Johnson.

A contrasting perspective to the one-week timeline anticipated by Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo.

Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo said they will put on a defense case that would likely take one week.

The announcement comes three weeks following his September 19 arrest and indictment on racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges.

Diddy, who has been detained in federal custody at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center since his arrest, is currently preparing to lodge a third bail attempt ahead of his trial.
