Regional Director of the Western Regional Health Authority (WRHA), Errol Greene has confirmed that vaccine being stored at the Cornwall Regional Hospital has gone missing.

Reports are that one vial equaling 10 doses of the vaccine has disappeared.

Greene says investigations are underway.

The government acquired the vaccine through donations from the Indian government and it was dispersed to different hospitals to give the required individuals the opportunity to access the vaccines.

This mishap comes after there was a breach at the National Chest Hospital last week.

There has been no word from the ministry about the missing vaccines and how this was able to happen.
