Rap star Drake has officially tied Michael Jackson as the male artiste with the most number-one singles in Billboard history after his track “First Person Shooter” featuring J. Cole debuted at the summit of the Hot 100 chart.
The track is Drake’s 13th charter-topper, a feat which has been unmatched since Jackson achieved it in 1995 with “You Are Not Alone,” as per Pitchfork.
It adds to his already impressive chart history, which includes breaking the ‘Beatles‘ record for the most ‘top 5 entries’ (30) on Billboard last year.
“First Person Shooter” is Drake’s second number-one single from his recently released album “For All The Dogs,” following his SZA featured “Slime You Out,” which also debuted atop the US Hot 100 singles chart.
The singles continue a good run for “Drizzy” as his album also occupies the summit of the Billboard charts.
