Three people died, and four were injured, this morning in a motor vehicle crash along the Western leg of the Portmore Toll Road in St Catherine.

The incident occurred about 12:45am.

The passengers, a group of seven including two females, were reportedly returning home from a party in the Waterhouse community when on reaching the roadway, the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle.

The three deceased are males, however, their identities have not been released and the injured persons were treated at the Spanish Town hospital.

According to reports, the Totoya Wish motorcar has since been impounded.

The Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) confirmed the fatal accident and said investigations are ongoing.
