2021 European Championship finalist England, is set to tackle defending champs Italy in an epic Group C opener of the Euro qualifiers at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona Italy, on Thursday.

In what will be a rematch of the 2021 finals, in which Italy triumphed 4-2 on penalties, the game will be a grudge match between the European juggernauts.

England will have a few points to prove when they travel to Naples on Thursday.

The three lions will seek their first win over the Azzurri for the first time in 60 years, with England’s Harry Kane also seeking to be the country’s record scorer (54) should he score in that fixture.
