Former General Manager of Petrojam charged

Floyd Grindley, the former General Manager of Petrojam, was today Tuesday, March 17, 2021, arrested and charged by MOCA detectives, with eight counts of Aiding and Abetting Obtaining Money by Means of False Pretense.

Allegations are, between December 2016 and May 2018; Grindley aided and abetted Dr Bahado-Singh and the process he used to fraudulently claim several reimbursements amounting to Seventy-three Thousand Six Hundred and Twenty United States Dollars (US$73,620.00).

MOCA over the period conducted a thorough multijurisdictional investigation into these allegations, prepared and submitted a file to the Director of Public Prosecution, who ruled that criminal charges be filed.

Grindley was interviewed in the presence of his attorney and subsequently arrested and charged. He was later offered bail, to appear in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on Wednesday, March 17, 2021.
