‘I killed my mother’ was the reported admission taken from his go pro video after the act. The video was said to show the actor saying; “I shot her in the back of the head. In the moments after, she would have known it was me.”
Reports further said that; indulging in alcohol and marijuana for hours following the murder, he allegedly loaded a car with three guns, ammunition and 12 Molotov cocktails with the intention to carry out his next act.
It was theorized that he was on way to the PM’s dwelling, as he had also had camping supplies and directions to Mr Trudeau’s Rideau Cottage residence.
The court is said to have also heard that the actor turned himself Into Vancouver authorities after aborting his suspected assassination plot, where he later admitted to his mother’s murder.
The Grantham, who also featured in the fantasy drama Supernatural, also starred in the 2010 film adaptation of the popular novel Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
Grantham has been in custody for the past two and a half years, law enforcement officials in Vancouver told Deadline, and has been participating in a mental health program since his arrest.
