Two-time Olympic women’s 100m sprint Champion Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce, reigning 200m World Champion Shericka Jackson, and sprint sensation Men’s Olympic Silver medalist Kishane Thompson spearhead a strong Jamaican contingent for the World Athletics Relays set for Guangzhou, China, from May 10-11.

The Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) confirmed the sprint stars and the full team list on Thursday.

The trio have been listed to participate in the 4x100m and 4x100m mixed relay events, which they will also be joined by the likes of World Indoor 100m Bronze Medalist Ackeem Blake and Twin sensation Tia and Tina Clayton, among a stellar lineup as part of the squad.

The China-hosted event will be the first major championship for the stars following the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, as they fine-tune preparation for the upcoming National trials for the World Championships set for Tokyo, Japan, in September.
