Gospel recording artiste Jodian Pantry has released a new single ‘God Is Right There With You’ in which she encourages listeners to be strong and stay positive no matter the circumstances.

In an interview with SLEEK Entertainment, Pantry explains “The song was written 4 months after my marriage failed.” She got divorced about 2 years ago and has been focused on GOD ever since.

She said Sanjay Pennant otherwise called “Freeze” of ‘Brain Freeze’ Production told her (while in the studio one day) that “God Is Right There With You’, will be a HIT SONG for you. Jodian I need you to pour out in it.”

Pantry added that he wants her to see herself in the song and for her to use it as motivation and for her, that’s how she came up with the lyrics.

The song was produced by both Brain Freeze Records and Downswell Records.

When SLEEK asked her about how the connection with Kevin Downswell came about, Pantry said, “Put it this way, it started from my dream 1 year and a half ago where in the dream, God was walking with me through a Garden looking a place and the man of God was seated around a Piano singing, and God showed him to me and said I’m going to let the two of you work together.”

She added that she had doubted the dream but it happened and Downswell helped to produce the song.

“Last November the man of God (Downswell) and I connected, we had a face-to-face sit and chit chat moment and here we are today with the song God Is Right There With You” Pantry said.

She classifies Downswell as “Simply brilliant” and adds that “I’ve learned so much from him in just a couple of hours, imagine what down the line could be and look like.“

Currently, Pantry is in the States, however, she is hoping to return to Jamaica in May to make a music video for the song.
