A bus transporting staff members of a call centre was held up and robbed last night in the Trench Town area of Kingston.

Reports are that gunmen hijacked the coaster bus with workers and stole cell phones and an undetermined amount of cash.

The matter was later reported to the Kingston Western police.

An investigator with knowledge of the incident said only one staff member managed to hide her phone even after a gun was pointed at her face.

SLEEK was told the group was traumatized.

Investigations are ongoing.
