The husband of one of the teachers who died following a mass shooting of Robb Elementary School in Uvalde Texas on Tuesday, has reportedly passed due to heart attack following wife’s memorial on Thursday.

According to reports the husband identified as Joe Garcia collapsed at his home after reportedly getting flowers for his wife’s (Irma Garcia) memorial.

A Family member asserts that he simply passed out, a few moments of sitting down when he returned home.

“When he got home, he was at home for no more than three minutes after sitting down on a chair with the family. He just fell over”  Irma’s nephew told a local news outlet

“They tried doing chest compressions and nothing worked. The ambulance came and they couldn’t, they couldn’t bring them back.”

A shaken-up Martinez added that: “I don’t even know how to feel. I don’t believe it. I don’t want to believe it” that Joe Garcia has passed

Irma Garcia and co-teacher Eva Mireles were both killed along with 19 children at the school during Tuesday vicious gun attack, which is the reportedly the second school related shooting this year however by far the deadliest.

The incident which has gripped the Country and plunged it into national state of mourning has seen Texas law makers come under severe pressure to review the current gun control measures regarding back ground checks and accessibility firearms.
