“When you know what you want, you know where your heart is at it’s not that difficult, so I’m willing to wait says Sidem Ozturk; the newly announced fiancé of Dancehall juggernaut Vybz Kartel.
The former British Social worker who is the muse to his upcoming project;[ True religion] expressed this during an interview with US-based broadcaster FOX 5 on Tuesday.
Sidem, who confirmed the seriousness of their relation and engagement, expressed her willingness to stand by her “Angel” in full confidence they will be together in short order.
“it’s a dream come true I still haven’t processed it properly in my head,” she gushed whilst reflecting on their union to be.
She adds that whilst his current situation does present a difficulty to maneuver, she is willing to wait.
“It does cause some difficulties, of course, it I can’t see him every time I want to see him or every time I want to talk to him but “when you know what you want, you know where your heart is at it’s not that difficult, so I’m willing to wait ” Sidem shared.
Patience has certainly been a key factor in their relationship as the engagement reportedly comes after three years after their first official meeting in 2019.
They officially met during an authorized family visit held at the Horizon remand, the visit itself came four years after their first correspondence in 2015.
Sidem; a Psychology major who relocated to Jamaica in order to be closer to her hubby shared that she was further compelled by his compassion and wit which were irresistible traits about Kartel for her.
“He smart, I love his heart, he got an amazing heart and it’s so giving its so loving I call him my angel so he just an Angel in my life” she said “I just can’t deny the way he makes me feel and how happy he makes me feel.”
“To actually be in Jamaica engaged to Addi it’s a dream come true I still haven’t processed it.”
Kartel’s new relationship could perhaps be strengthened as he and his legal team optimistically await their trial date with at UK based Privy Council to Appeal his 2010 murder conviction.
The main premise of their appeal hinges on the reported discovery of evidence tampering.
Kartel who is represented by Attorney Isat Buchanan believes the alleged discovery erodes the entire credibility of the case against the Dancehall artiste, as such provides a strong for their argument to overturn his conviction.
