Infamous Portmore serial rapist pleads guilty to another sexual attack

A 28-year-old man who has been linked to raping and terrorizing women in a series of incidents in Portmore, St. Catherine, has pleaded guilty to another sexual attack when he appeared before the Gun Court.

The accused Chaddane Harris also pleaded guilty to illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Furthermore, Harris pleaded guilty to various counts of sexual crimes and burglary when he appeared before the St. Catherine Circuit Court in March.

The sentencing for the aforementioned offense will be done on June 24.

Meanwhile, reports indicate that Harris, who was captured in 2019, has so far pleaded guilty to six counts of rape, four counts of grievous sexual assault, nine counts of burglary and larceny and wounding with intent after he stabbed one of his victims.

In addition, Investigators have also indicated that from 2014 to 2019, Harris targeted single women by breaking into their homes and sexually assaulting them at knife point.

As it now stands, Harris is slated to return to the Gun Court for sentencing on July 1.
