The music industry has changed significantly for a lot of artistes and consumers. The pandemic has left many artistes with more time on their hands and therefore they are dropping new songs and videos every 20 minutes. 

The last week has seen new music from a few well-known artistes; both locally and internationally. 

Stalk Ashley’s  Tip released on the 18th of February with the young artiste talking about her riding skills. Tee-jay releases a love song type vibe to ring in the weekend- Water Truck also dropped on February 18.

The 18th was very festive- Govana dropping another song for the ladies- POP by Govana  speaks about the power of the ‘kitty’, the song has a similar name to Belly’s POP from 2017 but with a very Jamaican flair. 

Movado Don’t you know, a song done for his son after his conviction- was released on the 18th of February as well. Another hot local artist- Skilli dropped another song Energy ft FS was released the 18th of February, the smooth energy of the song keeps the listener in a chill vibe. Skillibeng isn’t staying idle because he is featured on the Thy Will remix by Lila Ike.

The Local scene has Intence and Sean Paul dropping Real Steel on the 19th of February shows that the artists are ‘working, working, working’. Vybz Kartel Let your Body Move landed on YouTube on February 19th and already has 30k views!  Honorable mentions for Friday releases- Chronic Law- Good Inna Mi Heart music video release and Jafrass A Dat 

The international scene has seen Megan, Chris, Dababy and NF releases for this week.
