Reggae Sumfest 2023 will on Friday and Saturday have a different vibe and energy as Jade with the mollifying voice that could calm the most indignant beast will be the new host of the festival night’s one and two.

While known by many because of her work in radio (11 years at Zip 103fm) and (now at Fyah 105fm), the Romeich Entertainment gem, is ready to electrify the biggest stage for all reggae and dancehall artistes.

Sleek Ent caught up with ‘Jade The Gem’ who shared just how happy she is to host the Caribbean Airlines sponsored Reggae Sumfest and that her work over the years have granted her this opportunity…

This year’s lineup includes Richie Spice, Minister Marion Hall, Tanya Stephens, Tommy Lee Sparta, Dyani, Kabaka Pyramid, Freddie McGregor, and many more.

Jade is no stranger to the stage and Sumfest – recently, she hosted the Magnum Tonic Wine top performa – a massive stage show, that allows Jamaican singers and DJs to share their talent and compete for millions in cash and prizes.

She has also hosted several other stage shows, launches, and corporate shows throughout her hosting career of over 15 years.

Additionally, Jade is known and respected by most artistes in the dancehall and reggae industry – along with selectors, party promoters, and others, which makes her a great fit to host Reggae Sumfest.

This will be her first time hosting the festival and she is ready to execute at the highest level and says “I’m so excited can’t wait.”

Aside from her amazing voice and energy, Jade’s fashion will be on point as many expect she will be styled by Romeich Wear.

Jade will be joined by the comedic Boasy Boy Floyd who has years of experience co-hosting the festival.
