Fast-rising dancehall star Jahshii continues to show his growing clout as he dominates streaming numbers on YouTube. The ‘first nation’ boss currently has both the number 1 and 15 most trending songs in Jamaica on the platform, with ‘Born Fighter’ and ‘Energy’.

Both songs, which show the conscious and uplifting side of the artiste, clearly resonate with the audience, especially given the country’s current social climate. The messages of encouragement and self-motivation strike the right chords with fans and neutrals alike.

‘Born Fighter’ current holds the number spot with 1.8 million collective streams after 10 days, while his ‘Energy’ single surges to the top 14 with over 216,000 views within 18 hours of its Monday release.

Jahshii has been making waves since his big break in 2021 and has seemingly maintained his momentum in 2022. He started the year among the most trending with the video for his ‘When We A Step’ (WWAS) collab with Bounty Killer earlier in January.
