A Jamaican delegation of eight which features athletes from three teams will head to Barbados on Thursday to participate in the Barbados Open Beach Wrestling Championship.

The teams include Hybrid Athletics, Ruthless Academy, and Ocho Rios Wrestling Club, and will see them led by coach Kasrie Cassels and team lead Shiaeine Blake.

The others include athletes Rashawn Pinnock, Jonathan White, Bojan Dodik, Roberto Williams, Carson Thomas, Theron Rose Green, and Tyrece Thompson.

Jamaica will compete in the disciplines of Grappling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Freestyle Wrestling, Beach Wrestling, and Amateur mixed martial arts.

Cuba, Brazil, the United States, Canada, Colombia, and Trinidad and Tobago will be the other participating countries.
