The first of April is popularly seen as a day of gimmickry and pranks as better known as “All Fools Day” by many countries and several Jamaican fast-food companies have joined in the activities by pranking their followers.

Popular restaurant eateries used the day to remix some of their popular products with popular Jamaican-flavoured dishes.

From curry-goat flavoured frappes and Pizza to ready-made snackable fried dumplings, to prepacked ackee and saltfish with crackers mini packs.

While many found humour in the gag some of the ideas seemed to be food for thought in the development.
