Jamaican food/fruits continue to attract international acclaim for taste and flavour this after the Julie Mango was ranked as the ninth sweetest mango in the world.

In a recent reveal by the online publication South East Asia (SEA) story, the Jamaican Julie mango was ranked number 9 in the world just below Nam Dok Mai Mango from Thailand at number 8 and 7th ranked Honey Gold Mango from Australia, with Carabao from the Philippines claiming the top spot.

The succulent Jamaican fruit was also among the top varieties of “King of Fruits,” three years prior coming in at number 3 according to noted online publication Medium.
