National champion Janieve Russell will line up in the women’s 400m hurdles final, following a comfortable performance in the semi-finals at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games a short while ago.

Russell, running from lane six in semi-final one, went out really well with the fast-starting American Dalilah Muhammad blazing the trail ahead of her.

The Jamaican, at one point, faded into third but accelerated off the curve to finish second in 54.10s.

The final is scheduled for Tuesday at 9:30 pm.
