Jamaica’s Traves Smikle is all but out of the men’s discus throw after failing to hit the automatic qualifying mark of over 65m at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games a short while ago.
Smikle could only manage a heave of 59.94m to place 13th in Group A, where Sweden’s medal prospect Daniel Stahl was the only automatic qualifier with a 66.12m throw.
