The National Security Ministry handed over 3000 new rugged e-ticketing machines to the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF).
The units were delivered in a ceremony at the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch Headquarters in Kingston with National Security Minister – Dr. Horace Chang, Police Commissioner Major General Antony Anderson, and members of the force.
According to the JCF, “A key improvement to the new machines is an upgrade that will see better performance under the stress of a tropical climate.”
It added that “The handover will supplement the JCF effort to keep people safe as we ramp up our enforcement activities during the festive season.”
This has now increased the e-ticketing capabilities of the Force.
