Reggae superstars Damion Jr Gong Marley and Koffee are set to headline the 2023 edition of Bayfest, which is set for Waterfront Park, San Diego, California on July 8.

The Grammy winning singers will be the main pull for the annual music festival.

Which will also include Hawaiian Reggae band Common Kings, Prof. Khalil Nash, and DENM.

The show will be the latest in a series of major events the pair have headlined this year, having recently brought the curtains down on the penultimate day of the Florida-based Reggae Rise up festival on March 18.

Koffee was also a main act on the Rolling Stone Future of music series at the South by South West (SXSW) conference and festival in Austin, Texas on March 10.

The ‘Rapture’ hitmaker closed the show which also featured the likes of R&B singers Chloe Bailey, Coco Jones, and rapper Mariah the scientist.

The show also forms part of another active summer for Jr Gong who will have shows in Colorado before other events in April.

Those shows which are set for the Red Rocks Amphitheatre will have a stacked line up including his brothers – Ziggy, Stephen and Julian and Ky-Mani Marley.
