Dancehall Superstar Vybz Kartel believes that his “Party With Me EP” project was worthy of claiming the 2025 Grammy for Best Reggae Album.

Kartel, who earned his first Reggae Grammy nomination last year courtesy of the Dancehall project, shared his opinion on the result during his sit-down popular Entertainment Podcast “Drink Champs”, which was teased on Tuesday.

Kartel’s official opinion on the topic mirrored the views of many people online, as well as the predictions of publications such as Billboard, who pegged the Dancehall “Worl Boss” as a slight favourite for music’s biggest honour.

While expressing his belief in the project’s credentials as the real winner for this year’s cycle, Kartel, however, is full of respect for the winner, Bob Marley, noting that King of Reggae would have been the only act that could’ve realistically beat him this year.

A nod to the unwavering quality of his music decades later since his passing.

Kartel has been arguably one the most notarised persons in entertainment since his release, which was underlined following his globally followed Freedom Street Concert on New Year’s Eve.

The “Fever” hitmaker, who shared that “collabs” with rap star Cardi B as well as interest in Drake looks set to make his first major feature as part of Dj Khaled’s album following images of the two in studio sessions during his stay in Miami.
