Dancehall star Vybz Kartel is officially returning to the alcohol business following the reveal of his upcoming line of rum set for the “end of month” release.

Kartel unveiled the news via Instagram Live on Tuesday morning and showed samples of the product and the various flavours in the line.

While the drinks’ profile was teased, it remained unclear if it was a completely new product or a revamp and reintroduction of his iconic Street Vybz liquor.

The “World Boss” previously shared plans for “Street Vybz’s revival ” during an interview with local publication World Music Views.

The “Fever” hitmaker, of course, previously delved into the alcoholic beverage market with his hugely popular “Street Vybz” branded rum in the mid-2010s, which itself was a muse for the iconic “Street Vybz” riddim.

The new line of Kartel’s branded spirits will be produced in neighbouring Trinidad and is expected to be on the local shelves by the end of October, he disclosed during Tuesday’s live.
