Fans of international Dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel are set to be in for a visual treat as the “Worl Boss” prepares to deliver music videos for fan favourite hits released over the years during his incarceration.
Kartel, who hinted at the move during his interview with Billboard following his release last year, has begun to make good on that promise after sharing behind-the-scenes BTS footage of his dancehall playlist anthem his 2022 smash “Ignite The World.”

The Grammy-nominated artiste also hinted that follow-up drops are likely to include fellow dancehall anthems 2015’s “Miami Vice Episode” and 2018’s “Bet Mi Money” while responding to requests by fans in the comments of the post.

The singles all have upwards of three to six million streams on YouTube respectively. Numbers that are expected to jump significantly following the video drops.
While the release dates for the projects remain closely guarded it’s likely to be among the incremental releases leading that’s expected to span from spring break and coincide with summer.
The videos will be part of a slew of major drops from the “Fever” hitmaker this year, with the music video for his collab with Akon and Busta Rhymes on their track “Crazy“, with a Cardi B link-up also promised for this year.
The world boss is definitely making up for the years, with fans also getting to see the “Dancehall Hero” live with an ever-expanding itinerary of sold-out events, including his highly anticipated shows in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center in April, followed by his Wireless Festival debut in the UK in the summer. The shows also form an exciting precursor to his Freedom Street Europe event set for September.
