Former Manning Cup Champions Kingston College (KC) and reigning winner Jamaica College (JC) are set to renew their rivalry when both lace up to contest the final of the competition on Saturday at the Stadium East field.

The fixture brings together two of the most recent champions in an intense duel for the first post-pandemic high school football tournament.

KC, who are unbeaten in the competition, will be entering the games high on confidence after turning back St Andrew Technical High School (STATHS) team, who eliminated them at the semifinal stage in 2019.

The famed purples who lifted the trophy in 2018 missed out on the Olivier Shield and will be aiming for another chance to break that drought and hoist the all-island symbol of supremacy with victory current holders JC.

Reigning Cup holders JC the competition’s winningest school will be aiming to retain their stranglehold in the tournament with victory on Saturday. The darks blues who have made appearing in the finals essentially a home game over the years, will be looking to avoid eviction from the rivals as they seek title number 30.

Match time is set for a 3 pm kick-off.
