Koffee’s Toast mines gold in the United Kingdom

Toast, the 2018 hit by reggae artiste Koffee, has been certified gold in the United Kingdom.

The British Phonographic Industry issued the certification for the hit single commemorating 400,000 in sales, on January 22.

Toast was released by Promised Land Recordings/Columbia Records in November 2018. It peaked at number seventy on the Official Charts (UK chart Top 100). Over in the United States, Toast rose to number 47 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart and number 37 on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart.

Rapture the debut EP by Koffee that contained Toast, topped the US Billboard Reggae Albums chart for several weeks and remained on that chart into 2020 and at 62nd Grammy Awards, Rapture won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album.

Since the success of Toast, Koffee’s star has risen to higher heights. She collaborated with the likes of British artiste J Hus, R&B singer John Legend, Gunna and Daniel Ceasar.

Last summer, she shook the musical landscape with the massive hit Lockdown.

Koffee turns 21 on February 16.
