Dancehall heavyweights Konshens, Shaggy and Spice are among the international superstars nominated at the East Africa Arts Entertainment(EAEA) Awards set for Nairobi, Kenya on March 10.
The Jamaicans are nominated in the category of “Best Cross-Continental Collaboration Single.”
Konshens leads the way with three nominations for collaborations on Pallaso‘s “We Want Money“, KRG the Don‘s “Time Bomb,” and “Summer Bae,” featuring Azawi.
Shaggy‘s collaboration with Bruce Melodie for “When She’s Around“ and Spice‘s feature on Harmonize‘s “Miss Bantu” earned them a nod each in the section.
Iconic Reggae group Morgan Heritage is expected to make the category interesting after bagging a nomination for “Ready” featuring Shatta Wale, Jose Chameleone and RJ the DJ.
Hip Hop stars Rick Ross and Bobby Shmurda are among the other noted names nominated for the award.
