A former head girl of Edith Dalton James high school was shot dead at her home on Little Kew Road, Kingston 10 on Tuesday night.

She is 36-year-old Nicola Gibson-Campbell.

Reports are that the deceased was shot 13 times.

Reports from the police are that Gibson-Campbell arrived home from work about 7:00 p.m. when she was pounced upon by a lone gunman who opened fire hitting her multiple times.

He then made his escape on a motorcycle.

She worked at the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) as an administrative clerk.

Gibson-Campbell was the head girl for Edith Dalton James High in 2001.

SLEEK  was also told by relatives that she later attended Merl Grove High School.

Gibson-Campbell died leaving three young daughters.

The St Andrew Central Police are investigating.
