Reggae/Dub star Lila Iké has officially announced a Friday premiere of her highly anticipated single with rap star Joey Bada$$, titled “Fry Plantain”.

Iké, who revealed the impending drop with the New York MC in the summer, confirmed the official track’s title cover art and official release via her social media on Tuesday.

Fans were also quick to share their excitement about the pending drop in the comments of the promotional images showing both on the beautiful beachfront, underlined Iké’s previous reveal about the rapper coming to the island to shoot the video.

“Fry Plantain” is the second unveiled high-profile feature on her upcoming album, following the enchanting and soulful hit single “He Loves Us Both” with R&B songstress H.E.R. The video of which Bada$$ stars as the protagonist and main love interest to both ladies.
