A 22- year- old was shot and killed and his accomplice 26-year-old Winston Palmer shot and injured after a robbery in St Elizabeth. 

Reports are that about 8:30 p.m., Palmer and Jordane Brown, armed with handguns, robbed a bar in Maidstone district, Manchester of JMD 6000. While attempting to escape, the assailants challenged a licensed firearm holder during which Brown was shot and killed while Palmer escaped. 

Later that night Palmer visited a hospital with gunshot wounds and he was admitted for treatment under police guard.

He has been charged with  Robbery with Aggravation, Illegal Possession of Firearm, Illegal Possession of Ammunition and Shooting with Intent
