Manhunt launched for suspects linked to Christiana murder

A manhunt has been launched by the Christiana police for the suspects linked to the murder of a 61-year-old watchman Anthony Williams.

Williams’ body was discovered at around 11:00 a.m. by residents with an electrical cord wrapped around his neck and his hands and feet bound.

Police reports also indicate that the deceased was attacked between midnight and midmorning while he was on duty at a bar located on a shopping plaza at Brockery gate in Christiana.

Police also stated that the establishment was broken into and robbed of an undetermined amount of cash and liquor.

Meanwhile a plea has been issued by the police for residents to come forward with information that will lead to a subsequent arrest and charge of the culprits linked to this heinous act.

As such, residents are being asked to make contact with the Christiana police station at 876-964-2250, the police emergency number at 119 or Crime Stop at 311.
