Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine has publicly denied allegations of infidelity after, Instagram model Sumner Stroh went viral after alleging they had an affair during his wife’s pregnancy recently.

The Maroon 5 frontman broke his silence following an IG story post where he expressed his innocence of cheating.

“A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air ” the post started.

“I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life ” Levine said

“In certain instances it became inappropriate; I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family ” he added

“My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together.”

His post comes days after Stroh’s Tik tok where she shared screenshots of alleged conversations between herself and the singer, which included him allegedly asking permission to name his third child after her.

The revelations which went viral online became the number 1 trending topic on Monday night as the social media was spilt on how they felt about the situation.

In her video Stroh also alleges that she was hesitant in coming forward with a bombshell but only did so because her friends attempted to sell evidence of correspondences between the two she claimed.

Adam Levine and his wife of eight years, Behati Prinsloo are parents to daughters Dusty Rose, 6, and Gio Grace, 4, and are expecting a third child.
