Dancehall’s top striker Masicka is celebrating the continued success of his debut project ‘438’ after the album registered over 100 million streams.
The critically acclaimed album which was released in December 2021, collectively generated the 100 million-stream figure across several platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, Tidal, Napster, Audio Mack, and others.
The Genahsyde artiste shared the milestone on his social media account on Wednesday, while thanking fans for the support which created the achievement.
The Dunwell-produced project yielded several charting singles including fan favorites such as Love story current number five trending ‘Moments’ featuring Stefflon Don, Stature, Pain, King, and Suicide Note.
The album debuted at number 2 on the Reggae Billboard and spent several weeks among the top five album releases.
Masicka who currently has two songs among the most trending on the island, ‘Moments’ and ‘Tom Brady’, both of which peaked at number 2 trending, had hinted of a sophomore project dropping soon.
The Update on the details of the new record has been kept close however the ‘Hard Ball’ artiste hinted that it’s expected to be more impactful than 438.
