Dancehall’s top striker Masicka, is making ‘historical’ moves, this according to his new track and video ‘History.’

The track which was produced by longtime collaborator and hitmaker Dunwell was released on Sunday, and has already risen into the top ten most trending tracks on island.

‘History’ which is the second official release from ‘Different’ hit maker outside of his ‘438’ album, has so far racked up over 211,000 views inside 15 hours on his VEVO channel catapulting it to number seven most streamed song.

The single, which is a reflective tune by the ‘Hard ball’ artist speaks about maintaining ambitions of pursuing greatness, in the midst of adversity. He shares his early struggles, trusting the process and how his talent helped him to become among dancehall’s top tier artists.  

History follows the March release of instant hit ‘Safety Matches’ which struck up the attention of the dancehall fans world wide.

Last December Masicka dropped his debut project ‘438’ which opened second on the Reggae Billboards, spending three successive weeks in the top ten.

The album has yielded several hits such as; ‘Stature’, ‘Suicide Note’ and ‘Moments like these’ featuring Stef London.
