Masicka says “album ready”

Masicka’s highly anticipated sophomore album looks to be around the corner after the dancehall star shared that the project is “ready” much to the excitement of fans globally.

The ‘Image’ hitmaker, who has been leaving clues about the project’s release, left possibly the most tangible update on Wednesday, after he tweeted- “Album ready”

While the actual release date or timeframe is yet to be revealed, it was enough to create a frenzy or anxiety among his fan base.

“Impatiently waiting for my Spotify notification. All d spliff bill already” one user responded.

“Nuh Know weh Yah wait pon fi drop it enuh” another user reacted.

“Ready Enu Fada 🐊” one more user shared.

The project, which was hinted at last year, will be the follow-up to Masicka’s critically acclaimed debut album-‘438′ which was released in December of 2021.

The sophomore project will also be his first release since signing with major US label- Def Jam records in January.

In a previous tweet, the ‘Hardball’ singer also got fans hyped about the new material set for release tweeting, “New music 🤮”

Some fans shared;

“Mi a bleach pon e new music till mi a change color. Wi ready King. Leggo d Preview🎙🐊” one user responded while another shared- “Ah 1side enuh lawd ,cyaa wait fi e song drop genna.”

Masicka who has been in album mode over the past few months gave fans a taste of what to expect with the release of ‘Pieces’ featuring Jahshii on February 14.

The track, which was the first official release under his Def Jam partnership, was an instant hit among fans, jumping almost immediately to the top of most trending music on YouTube.
