“Sexual assault is never ok regardless of gender,” said actor Michael Rainey Jr. who has broken his silence on being inappropriately touched by the sister of popular streamer Tylil during his live stream.

The Power star took to his Instagram page to share his feelings on the matter.

The actor has received an overwhelming level of support online, with many agreeing that the severity of scrutiny about the incident would’ve been different if the roles were reversed.

Despite Tylil’s attempt to address the matter on the stream after Rainey left, noting that he disapproved of her behaviour, the incident still spiralled into a firestorm online.
