Popular entertainment journalist Khadine ‘Miss Kitty’ Hylton will now be adding another title— Attorney-At-Law.

Hylton, who graduated with First Class Honors from the UWI, Mona Law School as valedictorian said that she hasn’t yet decided what area of law she’ll concentrate on.

“I want to avail myself to growth and development in the different areas of law and I have not yet decided on an area of speciality. I, however, can share that I have a keen interest in the areas of Commercial Law, Conveyancing and Probate but if needs be I am not opposed to practising at the Criminal Bar,”

Hylton said.

The radio, tv, and event show host is being called to the bar by legal luminary Ian Wilkinson, QC, something that is not lost on the new attorney.

“Mr Wilkinson has been an inspiration and a tower of strength. A wonderful teacher that has provided guidance and I hope to continue to benefit from his wisdom and mentorship. I am truly humbled and grateful to be called by such a sharp legal mind, with than 30 years and innumerable success at the Bar,”

she remarked.

“If learned Queen’s Counsel is so minded to invite me to join his firm I would be more than grateful to do so because I know being under his tutelage will be to my benefit,”

she added.

With another major accomplishment down, Hylton is looking forward to some rest and travel as soon as it is safe.

“My next step is to get some rest and as soon as CCOVID-19 is overhead to Bora Bora in my two-piece and heels!!! I definitely plan on making my own strides in the field of Law while continuing my work and growth in Entertainment. I would love to amalgamate the two and continue to work hard and inspire by doing”
