Thirty beauties vying for the coveted title of Miss Universe Jamaica 2023 and an all-new spanking red Hyundai Creta were on Sunday sashed by their respective sponsors at the AC Hotel by Marriott Kingston in St Andrew.

While sponsorship continues to be a major hurdle for the organizers, they have pulled out all the stops to make 2023 the biggest and best year yet.

This will be the 10th anniversary of Uzuri International’s Mark McDermoth and Karl Williams owning and organizing the Miss Universe pageant in Jamaica.

This year, several sponsors are on board but, it is the return of Hyundai that has made it even more special as the title sponsor and will provide the winning beauty with a new ride.

It is a 2023 Hyundai Creta, described as “Bold – Beautiful & Sleek” which is fully equipped with Hyundai Bluelink connectivity technology, a platform that makes it easy to check important information about the car.
