A mixed group of players have been named for the Reggae Boyz squad for their CONCACAF Nation’s League second-leg game against Mexico on March 26 at the Azteca Stadium, Mexico.

The game which will be the reverse leg of the fixture will see a few shuffles to the squad from their opening leg in Jamaica.

Aston Villa winger- Leon Bailey, Spartak Moscow forward – Shamar Nicholson, and Philadelphia Union defender; Damion Lowe are all among the returning faces.

However, Union teammate and captain Andre Blake as well as West Ham striker Michail Antonio are noticeable absentees from the published list which was released on Monday.

Injuries are rumored to be a factor for some of the absentees.

Other noticeable absentees include Chelsea duo Dujaun ‘Whisper’ Harris and Omari Hutchinson.

Both players featured in the Reggae Boyz’ two-game international friendlies against Trinidad and Tobago, which also saw Whisper making his national team debut in the absence of Bailey, Nicholson and company.

New York Red Bull player Corey Burke, and Mount Pleasant’s Trivante Stewart, have also returned to the squad.

Jamal Lowe of the English Premier League team Bournemouth, has also been given the mantle of adding firepower to the Jamaican attacking line-up.

Jamaica, currently leads Nation’s League with five points and have already qualified for the Gold Cup having secured a top-two spot in group A along with second-place Mexico who are on four points.
