Another major collaboration between Dancehall superstar Beenie Man and R&B icon Mya looks set to come soon following a recent teaser of the new music.

Fans were sent into a frenzy after noted producer Kemar McGregor shared a clip of Mya vibing in the studio to what appeared to be a snippet of Beenie’s verse on the track, with the caption “summer gona be lit” tagging both artistes in the post.

The update comes days after Mya made a cameo appearance during his set at the recently concluded Jazz In The Garden in Miami where they delivered a performance of their 1996 classic “Girls Dem Sugar”.

That performance, which was tied into his first US gig in over 13 years, seemingly also setting the platform for their first collaboration in over 29 years.

Girls Dem Sugar, which was a worldwide smash, remains a global classic evidenced by the reception to their duet. Based on the online traction for the teaser thus far, the link up looks set to produce another banger.
