Paris Saint Germaine (PSG) star Neymar Jr was at his best for Brazil, after netting a brace in their 5-1 demolition of South Korea in an international friendly on Thursday at the South Korea World Cup Stadium.

Neymar who has had questionable performances this season for his club PSG, answered some critics after Thursday’s fixture against the former World Cup semi-finalist.

The team captain scored consecutive penalties in both halves to lead Brazil’s charge in a comprehensive victory.

Neymar Jr, scored his first in the 42nd minute, to double their lead just before the break after Everton Fc striker Richarlison opened scoring for the Brazilians early in minute seven.

The Brazil number 10 then showed composure to net his second penalty and goal of the match, getting the better of South Korean custodian once more in the 57th minute.

 The goal gave the South American giant a comfortable advantage before the hour mark.

New Aston Villa signee Phillipe Coutinho was also on the score sheet for the Brazilians.

The former Barcelona and Liverpool forward, added a fourth in minute 80, before Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus completed the route.

The Premier League winner scored in the 93rd minute, to add goal number five for the five-time world champions.

South Korea’s Hwang Ui-jo copped the team’s consolation goal in the minute 31.
