Rap Queen, Nicki Minaj has become the first female rapper to surpass 65 million monthly listeners in Spotify history.

Minaj has shattered the all-time record for the highest number of monthly listeners by a female rapper in the history of Spotify. The prediction for this milestone had been building up as Nicki approached the threshold of 25,000 additional listeners needed, and as expected, this record-breaking moment has now arrived solidifying her status as a music industry icon and pioneer in the rap fraternity.

Basking in the success, Nikki took to her Instagram stories and celebrated the success saying “Brabz have just broken a record.”

Last week, Minaj eclipsed Missy Elliot as the longest-charting female rapper on Billboard’s Hot 100 because of her No.1 hit “Super Freaky Girl,” which charted again on the week of January 5, earning the hit a 20-week total.

Her fourth studio album, dominated charts across the world and became a great success. It achieved platinum status in the US and gold status in the UK, dominating global charts as far as China.

The year 2023 is marked by mounting excitement as fans eagerly await the release of Minaj’s latest studio album, her first since 2018’s acclaimed “Queen.” Marked on the calendar for November 17, her upcoming fifth studio album titled, “Pink Friday 2,” serves as a highly anticipated sequel to her debut album from 2010, “Pink Friday.”
