2016 Men’s 110m hurdles Olympic champion Omar McLeod signalled his readiness for National trials after logging a season best-13.25 seconds to win at the Paavo Nurmi Games in Finland on Tuesday.

The run bettered his previous SB of 13.29s in the heats moments earlier at the Continental Tour Gold meet.

The result marked McLeod’s fourth win in five starts this season as he continues his comeback to form with eyes on a return to the Olympic podium.

McLeod took to his Instagram to share that his next stop will be at the National Championships in June, where his focus will be on returning among the top three heading to the Paris-hosted games this summer.
