The St Catherine South Police have intensified efforts to put a dent in the illegal Guns for Drugs Trade that operates between Jamaica and Haiti. In the most recent instance, four Haitians were apprehended in the Naggo Head in Portmore, St Catherine, on Sunday, April 4.
So far, the investigation has indicated that the men entered the island illegally and are facilitators in the Guns for Drugs Trade.
On Tuesday, April 6 a joint police/military team carried out operations in the Braeton community where over 1000 pound of compressed marijuana was seized. The St Catherine South Police will continue to target players, in the trade.
