Rising NBA star Jordan Poole dropped a game-high 30 points for Champions Golden State Warriors (GSW) as they rebounded from their loss to the Dallas Mavericks to beat the Chicago Bulls 119-111 on Friday night.

On a night where top shooter Steph Curry played a more utility role with 11 assists to go with his 19 points, Poole was given free rein against the Bulls and he made the most of his opportunity.

The young shooting guard who is pegged to take over from Curry in the Warriors’ dynasty, dropped an even 30-points with a rebound and an assist each as the Golden State switched up things a bit for a successful result.

GSW won all but the final quarter -35-33,28-19,33-30 and 23-29 as they maintain control throughout the game and rarely looked disturbed in their strategy.

One-half of the “splash brothers” Klay Thompson was also a main feature for the Warriors; knocking down 26 buckets of his own to go with five assists and six rebounds.

The win moves Goldens State to their 12th victory of the season as they also move up to eight in the standings.
